I’ve been in the computer/IT service industry for over 30 years now and every so often we run into very difficult problem to diagnose. While the automotive and computer industries are quite different; diagnosing, trouble shooting and root cause analysis skills cross all the services industries. That said, I wanted to call out some outstanding service that Waconia Dodge service team provided for me this past month. My 2005 300c was making a “groaning/rubbing” sound after the car was warmed up and under a drive load condition. Steve and Eric did an outstanding job of sticking with this very difficult problem to diagnose; they stuck with it and after the better part of a week were able to find the root cause and get fixed. I commend them for sticking with it and getting the problem diagnose and fixed in time for me daughter to take to the car to watch the Gophers lose to the Baggers in Wisconsin. I'm pleased and Brett made it sure I was I'm currently a college student and made my first trade in purchase. I was a little nervous buying a used vehicle however, I was determined to purchase a model I could afford myself without my parents' financial assistance. I worked with Brett and Bill and they were both extremely knowledgeable and gave excellent advise on the process of trading in my previous vehicle. The entire process was very simple and Brett made sure I was comfortable and gave me frequent updates when it came to getting the paperwork together. I live in Uptown Minneapolis and the drive for me is about an hour, but I wouldn't hesitate a second to drive down to get my car serviced.

I was able to get this vehicle in for repair on very short order for which I am thankful. As with any vehicle with over 212,000 miles, it needed more done than I expected. Both front and rear brakes, left tie rod end, alinement, and tire rotation. My son and daughter-in- law who own this vehicle how have a vehicle they know will go many more thousands of miles with brakes that will stop them when needed. As I drove through the lot of Waconia Dodge to look at available vehicles I saw a male person walking toward me. I asked if he was a salesman and he responded he was. I related to him what I would like to have for my next auto. After walking around the lot I was very attracted to a 2012 Dodge Caliber. I wanted something like a crossover for the height it would provide for getting in and out of the vehicle as I continue to age. The Caliber had that and much more. And it was affordable for me. I am getting accustomed my vehicle and enjoy it more every day. The only difficulty for me is the radio, I find it very distracting and a little bit much for a 75 year old grandma. Wish it had a GPS instead. Other than that I have had many compliments and am looking forward to my first road trip to Illinois sometime soon. I hope I am fortunate enough to be blessed with a long life with my Dodge as I was with my previous Chevrolet Impala. Thank you

I actually purchased this vehicle from Waconia Dodge. Asked them to take care of a couple of minor issues I has with the vehicle, namely a cracked Mirror housing on the Drivers side. They ordered the part and had it installed before I could get there to purchase the vehicle. I found their sales staff very pleasant to deal with and eager to satisfy my requests. They were also very helpful in obtaining financing at a very comparable rate and while I didn't end up using their financing, I was able to use it as a negotiating chip with my financial institution to lower the rate I was originally quoted. I was very pleased with my overall experience and would definitely return to Waconia Dodge for my next vehicle purchase.

We just purchased a Town & Country van ('VanGo' is it's official name now) on 6/9/12. We met with Chris the salesman on Friday the 8th. Our daughter and husband purchased a TC Van from him just 6 weeks prior. Chris was very knowledgable about the van and the Chrysler product line. He was very easy to work with. One thing my husband hates is pressure or a pushy salesman, which Chris wasn't. If he had been we would have walked out of the showroom and never to be seen again. But, that didn't happen. After 3 hours of talking and taking 2 short drives in the van we started negotiations. Again, the process was very stress-free. We made some suggestions about price which they were receptive too. Fortunately, we were able to come to agreement on a final cost and delivery time. We met with finance and that went very well too. We brought our van ('VanGo') in to have the 'clear bra' applied to it. They were timely and again very helpful. Since we only had 'VanGo' for 1 week we had some questions about acceleration  and a few other things. The service man (don't remember his name) was super helpful and very knowledgeable. So far a great team to work with. We actually bought 'VanGo' on a referral from our daughter and her husband as they bought their van just 6 weeks prior from Waconia and Chris the salesman. My daughter's Boxer dog and just jumped up on the driver's door and made a small scratch on the door. She asked the same service man about buffing it out or if it could be fixed. He came back out with some wax and a cloth and did some 'magic' and helped it disappear. After that all it needed was car wash. We went shopping for a 4-wheel drive vehicle one saturday. We had to decide on a vehicle within a couple weeks. We had stopped in at Waconia a few weeks prior and met Shane, so we decided to work with him. When we got to the dealership, Shane was busy and so Andy started asking what we were interested in. Andy said we needed to test drive a few vehicles first. He went out and lined three vechiles up,letting them all warm up. We took the first one for a drive, came back, jumped in the second and then the third. They trusted us and let us take the vehicles out without any hassel. The driving of the vehicles made a huge difference in what was on top of our wish list. This saved us alot of time. Shane returned and Andy just disappeared and let Shane handle the sales pitch. Shane was a great salesman, he gave us the pitch on the vecicles we were interested in. My husband was intersted in the Cherokee and I was intersted in the Wrangler. Shane spent time talking about both and giving us lots to think about. We left the dealership to think about our options. We were back within a few hours, asking more questions. Shane was great to work with. Once we made our mind up to by the 2012 Jeep Wrangler, then Shane had lots of work to do. We give him a list of "must have in Jeep" and "what color" must be. Shane worked for countless hours trying to fill our want list. He came thru the next day with "I found one!" We were very excited. When we went to pick up the Jeep, we met the service guy who would be servicing my Jeep. I was very pleased to have met him. The actual sale was a pleasant expericence and we were in and out with our new Jeep within a hour. The Jeep is everything and more what we were hoping for. It is fun to pull up to the gas statation and guys will come over and drool all over the Jeep. I gets tons of compliments on the Jeep. I could not be happier. Thanks Waconia Jeep and Shane and Andy!
