25 cars worth waiting for, Car and Driver, March 23
o Car and Driver magazine named 25 cars it considers worth waiting for,
including several Chrysler Group vehicles.
- 2013 Dodge Viper: Styling is expected to echo elements of the Alfa
Romeo 8C Competizione and Zagato’s Alfa Romeo TZ3 concept car. The
new Viper will have the benefit of Ferrari engineering and
development.
- 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8: If it’s half as bodacious as the
first Grand Cherokee SRT8, it’ll be the most charmingly absurd of
all SRT8s.
- 2012 Chrysler 300C SRT8 / Dodge Charger SRT8: The redesigned
Charger and 300 are nice; adding a 470-hp engine makes them mean.
- 2013 Fiat 500 EV: Fiat needs to give people another reason to buy
a 500 besides styling. Powertrain: A 100-hp electric motor powered
by lithium-ion batteries.
